Why are you a champion for Diane's Heart?
Diane's Heart is important to me because I was a single parent after my divorce. It takes a village to raise children, and although I had support, some single parents can only depend on themselves. Therefore, I am humbled to have been asked to give back to a beautiful cause.
Supporting this organization with this team and a group of single moms gives me joy and a profound sense of fulfillment. It's a feeling like no other, knowing I'm helping others improve their knowledge of society and bring out the best in each individual.
Why should you support this organization?
Because the journey of being a single parent takes work. It's a challenge that affects households worldwide. For instance, there are 15 million female households with no spouse present in the United States (Census Bureau 2024). Hence, in Alabama, findings show that nearly (48.3 percent) of all children born in Alabama are born to unmarried mothers, according to statistics gathered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
We must not only bridge this gap but also close it, and your support is crucial to making this difference.
